Looking To The Sky

Looking To The Sky

The days have been so dreary,
Without you being near me.
The sun is cold and lifeless,
Hanging lonesome in the sky.
When night falls, looming darkness,
And the winds're crooning, heartless;
The moon, it winks so slowly,
High in that starry studded sky.
When will you be returning?
To settle down this yearning,
Of a man who's lost and lonely,
Always staring up to the sky.
The days are spent being blinded;
At night, it is always reminded,
That, love, it comes and goes,
Like moon and sun in the sky.
